About The Old Ticket Office

The original Ticket Office was built in 1855 when Blairmore Pier was first built. The property is a Listed Building and having become dilapidated over many years, was restored and turned into a unique cottage in 2005, in time to celebrate the 150th anniversary. Designed as a holiday cottage, The Old Ticket Office has been developed to a very high standard whilst retaining the charm of itís Victorian foundations.

The cottage is furnished with a luxurious and traditional feel. All linen and hand, bath and tea towels provided.
 
Living / Dining area: The cottage has a compact yet spacious living and dining area with seating for 4 people. In the living area there is a 2 seater sofa (converts to a double sofa bed) and a TV and Combined CD/DVD & Video player for your use.
 
Bedrooms: The cottage has a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, fitted wardrobe and patio doors on to the shore terrace.
 
Shore Terrace & Garden: The cottage has a large terrace overlooking Loch long and an enclosed landscaped garden area commanding spectacular views. Coffee, dining table and chairs are provide, ideal for alfresco dining. The terrace and garden are accessed from either the master bedroom or the main door and has the benefit of a shaded area or an open area for sun worshippers.
 
  Bathroom: The bathroom is furnished with a spacious shower cubicle (with inbuilt seat) powered shower, sink and toilet, underfloor heating.
 
Kitchen: The fully fitted kitchen benefits from electrical cooker and oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine/ tumble dryer and iron and ironing board. There is also ample crockery and kitchenware for 4 people.
